MetaX 2.2.8 is out
with two new features:
- Added archive feature to store and
retrieve historical meta-data
- Added support for setting the
iPhone ringtone tag (non-protected
only)
- Bug fixes
-
The archive feature will store your meta-data tags to a database as you write them to your file. You can access the archive to restore this data to a new file at any point in the future. The archive interface also allows editing of the saved tags.
You can now set the ring tone tag on your m4a music files, just select "Ring Tone" as the video kind. After this tag is set, iTunes will recognize the file as a ring tone, and allow syncing as such. This only works on non-protected aac files (.m4a extension).
I fixed a few bugs in this version as well. Keep the bug reports and suggestions coming. Enjoy!
