MetaX 2.1.2 - Queue Core Reborn

08/19/07 04:52 PM Filed in: Mac Stuff
MetaX 2.1.2 sports a brand new queue core. Here are the changes:
cow128

-Re-write of queue handling core
-Added Apple TV sorting tags
-Genre is now in auto-filling editable list
-Added lock for encoding tool tag between files
-Bug fixes

When you open a new file it is automatically added to the queue and selected. Edit tags at your leisure. You can select multiple queue items at once, and edit as well. Deleting queue files is the same, just select and delete. When you have all of the tags to your liking, click on Write to process the queue. The black cow icon in the queue will show you which files have edits applied to them.

Also of interest in this release are the Apple TV sorting tags. Use the sorting tab to apply these. The genre selection list is a smart list, dependent upon the video kind selected. You can select a genre from this list, or create your own.

Also by popular demand is a locking mechanism for the tool tag. Just click to select the "-" in the check box, and your tool tag will persist between files. This is great for tagging all of your HandBrake files!

I found several bugs I didn't even know existed and killed them. Let me know if you have any suggestions or bug reports. Enjoy!
